The names of the surrendered terrorists are Ahmed Isiaka, 18, and Adam Muhammed, 17, who hail from Kolloram, Kukawa Local Government Area of Borno State, Nigeria.

MNJTF Chief of Military Public Information, Lieutenant Colonel Abubakar Abdullahi, in a statement, said the former terrorists relinquished various items, including 250 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition, 50 rounds of 7.62mm NATO ammunition, and a 9mm Para round, among other personal belongings.

He said on March 26, 2024, the MNJTF reported the surrendering of two terrorist commanders.

These events underscore the effectiveness of the diverse non-kinetic measures the MNJTF has implemented to promote safety and security in the Lake Chad Basin region impacted by Boko Haram and other terrorist activities. The MNJTF is committed to restoring peace and facilitating the return of normalcy to the affected region.
