A group of anxious Labour Party (LP) faithful in Boki LGA has irresolutely adopted the People Democratic Party PDP, Guber Candidate Sen Sandy Ojang Onor of Cross River State.
The Labour Party house of Reps Candidate for Boki/Ikom Federal Constituency, Mr Alvin Ochang led the group in Kakwagom-Osokom, south south region of Nigeria.
In a welcome statement, Mr Ochang said Prof Onor has come to recognize them because as a party they are together.
He also stated that while Peter Obi is going to claim his mandate in the Court. This is the time for them to take a position.
“As they are leaving we are going to remain behind and take a position. Our father Peter Obi is going to claim his mandate in the court.This is the time for us to take a position”
While describing the PDP Guber Flagbearer as a brother from the Central and a friend of the family.He said “because as a party we are together, he has come to recognize today”.
“As he is departing we will sit down behind closed doors again as a party and agree on what we need to do. What we want is what will advance the course of Cross River State.He reiterated.
Responding, the Senator Representing Cross River Central Senatorial District Prof Onor promised them inclusive Governmment saying “We will win together. You shall be a part of the government.
“I came to meet our leader, brother and friend to convince him that we meant what we say and say what we meant. So please join me, it’s a partnership that will be so good for all of us. He said.
