The Governor of Cross River State Senator Ben Ayade has declared Thursday January 26, and Friday January 27, 2023 as work free days to enable registered Civil and public servants to get collect their PVCs.
Ayade made the declaration through his Commissioner for information and Orientation Mr Eric Iso Anderson.
In a statement signed by the Commissioner and dated 20th of January 2023, the governor said the declaration is in the state readiness for its full participation in the 2023 general elections.
The statement made available to Truth Live News in Calabar stated clearly that for the benefit of the general public these work free days are not Public holidays and should not be taken as one.
Accordingly, Civil and public servants in Cross River State Nigeria South south region are by the release advised to take advantage of this opportunity to go get their PVCs so as to make their votes count.
The statement reads in part that “your Permanent Voters’Card (PVC) is the pathway to achieving credible elections come 25th February and 11th of March 2023. Get your PVC now.
