INEC is yet to receive list of agents for Labour Party in over 90 thousand polling units across the country.
I tried to take this information to Peter Obi supporters on various social media platforms and it was insults galore on my person. What did I do? Just because I told them to volunteer to be agents for their messiah. Sad.
I am the agent of my Party in my ward. Most Obi supporters only do their supports on social media and passing insults on people who have contrary opinions. How many of them go to their wards and units to hold meetings ? How many of them send money to Obi or Labour Party or to their wards and unit to mobilise for campaigns? Then after losing in February, they will start screaming rigging.
How do you expect Obi to win in Kogi, Nassarawa, Ondo, Ekiti, Osun, Oyo, Sokoto, Kano, Jigawa, Katsina, Borno, Yobe, Niger, Kwara, Ogun, Gombe, Bauchi, Adamawa, Kebbi, Lagos , Zamfara? If Obi cannot win any of these 21 States mentioned above, how can he win the election? You people should stop playing.
Even Edo that Obi and his supporters believe he will win with a landslide, is a mirage for them. They stand a chance, to be honest, in some of the urban local governments in Edo State, but it would not be enough on the whole. As I write this, the APC is already ahead in the six local Governments of Edo North, not just because Adams Oshiomhole is running for the senate there, but because they are traditional APC enclave and that the PDP senatorial candidate from Obaseki faction was a monumental failure as senator in contradiction to Oshiomhole who was a great success as Governor.
Edo State has 18 Local governments; if APC already has six before election month, it leaves 12 for contestation. All the APC need is to target six of these 12 and it would have a resounding victory.
The APC will win Orhionmwon and Uhunmode because of the determination to deliver Chief Billy Osawaru who stands heads and shoulders above the two PDP candidates still struggling for their ticket and the Labour Party candidate, who is seen as nauseatingly desperate like an indicted dying witch who fell at aranvbonka. The PDP candidates are from Orhionmwon whereas the general resolve of the two sibling Local governments is that this is the turn of Uhunmwode, where Chief Billy Osawaru comes from.
The APC will win Ovia because of the works of DENCO ( Denis Idahosa, the APC House of Representatives candidate) and the determination of Ovia people to come out of a debilitating Igbinedion hegemony. The story of DENCO is the story of a son of a nobody, challenging and defeating the rich daughter of a billionaire and it appears very likely that lightning will strike in same place twice, this year.
As the election gets closer and with the low turn outs in Peter Obi’s campaigns, even after drafting Psquare to perform at their presidential campaigns, it is increasingly obvious to Obi supporters that they have been building castles in the air. They have increased their insults on Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his supporters, doctoring videos to make Asiwaju appear as a man with cognitive disorder . As they failed to pin a non existent indictment for drug peddling on Tinubu, they are also failing in their bid to impinge on the cognition of Bola Tinubu.
Those of us who have followed Bola Ahmed Tinubu since 1992 know that he always spoke with a certain slur, which has always been his style of oration , but to now edit his speeches to make him appear mentally impaired is the height of political rascality and desperation by PDP and Peter Obi IPOB inspired propagandists .
They say Tinubu could not be 70 years because his daughter is 62 years. Some elements who suffer intellectual lassitude believe this obvious lie, when all they could do was to go to Google to check for the said Tinubu’s daughter, who celebrated her 46th year birthday with videos and pictures littering the Internet. They would have seen that she was a beautiful young woman in her 40s. Her name is Folashade Tinubu-Ojo. You can do a simple research, if you are really sincere.
Then they also say they would have voted Tinubu 15 years ago when he was fit. That the man is sick. While I cannot hold brief for the health condition of Asiwaju, I contend that a sick man would not sit through the over 24 hours APC convention that was held in early June 2022 without slumber. Same man they accuse of being sick has done far more campaigns, covering far more States than Atiku, Obi and Kwakwanso combined. While Atiku and Obi have been cancelling their campaigns in various States, Tinubu has been seeing out his campaigns, covering six States in the last seven days . A sick man would have capitulated by now.
I appeal to the usual naysayers in Nigeria not to allow the devil that has stunted Nigeria use them against Tinubu. He’s the man we need at this time to translate his midas touch in Lagos to Nigeria. We do not claim that Tinubu is the expected messiah , even Tinubu does not say so of himself; what we say is that Tinubu has the quality of being able to put excellent teams together for the general good, not minding their various schisms of religion, tribe and creed. That is the man Nigeria needs at this time.
