Popular Singer, Naira Marley has promised to donate the sum of one billion Naira to support any political party his Fans choose ahead of the 2023 general election.
Naira Marley made this known in a tweet via his Twitter handle @officialnairam1 on Wednesday.
He tweeted: “I wanna donate 1billion for 2023 election. But what party are we voting for?
Reacting to his tweet, a tweep Daniel Regha reminded him that he was still being watched by EFCC.
He said, “Naira Marley u don’t have a billion, u are not that wealthy, & it’s advisable u tread carefully since u are still being watched by the EFCC; Having said that, the 2023 elections isn’t a joke.
Another tweep JoJo said, Nigerians are literally fighting for their lives right now so don’t chase clout with it.”
On the other hand, several other tweeps flooded his handle suggesting the party he should donate to.
