2024 Draft Budget: A’Ibom Civil Servants To Get Additional One-Month Basic Salary – Gov. Eno

The Akwa Ibom State Governor Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, has announced an additional one-month basic salary to be paid to civil servants in December.

He said the additional money is to help them have a joyful Christmas celebration with their families.

Eno made the announcement during the meeting of the Akwa Ibom State Executive Council at the government house Uyo, south south Nigeria.

He said via his X handle formally known as twitter: “Today, I chaired an enlarged meeting of the Akwa Ibom State Executive Council, where crucial matters were discussed and reviewed.”

“Top of the agenda was presentation of the Medium Term Expenditure Framework and the Draft Budget Estimates 2024.”

During the meeting, I also announced an additional one-month basic salary to be paid to civil servants in December to help them have a joyful Christmas celebration with their families.

Eno said he has directed the Commissioner for Water Resources and Sanitation to ensure the restoration of clean water supply in Uyo metropolis.

In his words: “Additionally, I issued a directive to the Commissioner for Water Resources and Sanitation to ensure the restoration of clean water supply in Uyo metropolis and selected rural areas, as a key part of our initial phase of the “Water for All” initiative across the state.”
