Chief Malcom Omirhobo, a lawyer and activist, has described as historic, recent judgment of the ECOWAS Court of Justice declaring federal government ban of Twitter as unlawful.
The activist who stirred controversy by appearing in courts as traditionalist after recent Supreme Court ruling in favour of Hijab, a faith based veil covering favoured by a religion, also stated that he is proud to be part of the historic judgement.
“The ECOWAS COURT OF JUSTICE declared the Federal government of Nigeria ban on Twitter as unlawful.
” I am happy to be part of this historic Judgement,” he said in his verified Twitter handle”.
