Today, Whatsapp have been experiencing a downtime as there’s been an increased report of outages in some countries across the globe.
Downdetector, a website that tracks online outages across the globe, has shown a sharp spike in the number of users reporting WhatsApp’s outage.
Some users have experienced issues with sending messages, uploading their Whatsapp statuses and the blue ticks seen when one sends messages, can no longer be seen.
Others also reported that they can no longer connect to WhatsApp’s servers, with the application displaying a continuous “Connecting…” message.
The downtime has been on for over one hour.
