House Of Assembly Candidate Organizes 1 Million Match; Inaugurates Campaign Team In Calabar

The House of Assembly Candidate of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) for Calabar south constituency(1) honorable Anthony Nya has Inaugurated his campaign team and a-million-match in Calabar, the Cross River State Capital.

 

Present at the inauguration which took place on Saturday were the PDP governorship candidate Senator Sandy Onor’s running mate Emana Duke, the state PDP women Leader Florence Inyang, and former chairman of Calabar south local government council Bassey Ekefre.

 

The brass band group of instrumentalists lead the way out for the match, followed by a cultural group of ladies and men dancers.

 

While addressing the party faithful at the candidate’s constituency office built along Calabar road opposite the Anglican Communion, Emana Duke told them that they must work hard and ensure the opposition party is rendered empty,

 

Emana, who spoke shortly after arriving the scene with her entourage said, she would not make promises that would be impossible for her to fulfill.

 

“I cannot make promises we would not fulfill, it is not in our place to tell lies” she continued. “Let us not allow sentiment to rob us of whatever we desire that is good for us.”

 

In his brief remarks, the house of assembly candidate for Calabar south 1 constituency Anthony Nya, also said, “I will provide effective representation. I want everybody to vote for me, for I will not disappoint you.”

 

The walk went round the major streets in Calabar south LGA in order to greet and sensitized people on the need to vote wisely.
