The Labour Party LP candidate, Peter Obi, visited the revered monarch of Benin Kingdom, Oba Ewuare 11, in his palace at the the city center, today, November 11, 2022.
Obi who was in the city for his rally, was welcomed by a huge crowd of supporters, who converged at the field of the Oba’s palace, prior to his arrival.
Before he visited Benin, the LP candidate stopped at Auchi and Uromi where he was also warmly received by the indigenes of the community.
At the palace, the Oba of Benin, alongside his chiefs, welcomed Obi and offered words of wisdom to him, before blessing his pursuit.
Peter Obi later joined his supporters who were waiting patiently outside the palace premises, to embark on the scheduled rally.
