Nollywood actor, Lukman Oloyede Olaiya Igwe has set tongues wagging with a video of his unclad self, praying at the beach for All Progressive Congress APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In the video which has since gone viral, Olaiya is seen praying to the sea god to grant his request, by allowing Tinubu emerge as Nigeria’s president in the forthcoming 2023 election.
Praying in Yoruba language but translated to English, the actor said;
“Oh God. The one yesterday, today and till eternity. I call you today, I, Ebun Lukman Oloyede Olaiya Igwe, uses this avenue to plead with you.
“I’m here because of Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Let him emerge victorious. Let Tinubu win the forthcoming election, get him to the post. I internationally came to the beach to plead with you (God), the most merciful.
“Let Tinubu’s votes be as much as the water of the ocean. Don’t put us (APC) to shame. Let Tinubu become President. God, help us put an end to the suffering we are experiencing today in Nigeria.”
The video has irked many social media users who saw it as an appalling act, not suitable for a man of his age.
