In a bid to sympathize with the victims of a suspected cholera outbreak in some parts of Cross River Central, assess the situation to prefer solution when elected as governor in March 2023, the Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Senator representing Cross River Central Senatorial District, Sen. Prof. Sandy Ojang Onor, paid a visit to Ekureku Community in Abi LGA.
Senator Onor who is seen to be clearly enjoying the support of the vast majority of the Cross River state electorate visited the place with his running mate, Lady Emana-Duke Ambrose Amawhe, both went for a situation assessment that has claimed over 40 lives in 48 hours.
You could recall that early in the week Truth Live News had on Monday reported that the DG PHC Dr. Janet Ekpenyong said Agency is not sure whether the suspected outbreak is cholera until they carry out a test.
