The people of Beeboo/Bumaji, Alanku, Buentsebe & Abo wards of Boki I State Constituency have declared their support for the People Democratic Party’s (PDP) Governorship candidate Senator Sandy Ojang Onor ahead of the 2023 General Elections.
Truth Live News weekend learned that the Wards made the declaration on Saturday while on the Ward to Ward Campaign across the Central Senatorial District of Cross River State, Nigeria South-south region.
The PDP Chapter Chairman of Boki, Mr. Fabian Okwaje who welcomed the campaign council said: “The time they have been waiting for is around the corner. With our Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC), we would effect change and right the wrong together.
Others who joined in supporting the PDP Gubernatorial Candidate are the candidate for Boki I State Constituency, Hon. Ikobi Ikobi, the reps candidate for Ikom/Boki Federal Constituency, Barr Attah Ochinke, Â and, the senatorial candidate, Rt Hon Bassey Eko Ewa assured the people of the unanimous decision.
According to them, “We the good people of Abi, Yakurr, and Obubra have agreed to give our son and brother, Senator Prof Sandy Ojang Onor 100% votes in the forthcoming Governorship Election.
The campaign was led by the Central Senatorial District Director General of the Campaign Council, Ntufam Gabe Odu Oji , the Chairman of PDP Campaign Council, Boki, Chief Dominic Kitzu, and the Deputy-Director General, State Campaign Organisation and DG Caterpillar Movement, Chief Joe Obi Bisong.
Speaking on behalf of the Governorship Candidate, Senator Prof Sandy Ojang Onor,  the Deputy-Director General, State Campaign Organisation and DG Caterpillar Movement, Chief Joe Obi Bisong said that the APC regime has in the last 20 years neglected  Eastern Boki.
Enumerating the APC’s failure, he said: “Let me be clear; there is no development that had taken place in  Eastern Boki in the last 20 years that was not championed by the PDP such as schools, market, roads, health centers, and electricity.
The PDP State Secretary, Hon. Tony Edako, Hon Kelly Ayamba, Prof Charles Mfem, Hon. Godswill Obindim, Dr. Mark Nke, Hon Godswill Obindim, and a host of other faithful parties and stakeholders participated in the campaign.
