Tottenham Hotspur are pushing very hard to reach agreement with Sporting CP to sign Spanish right-back, Pedro Porro to the club.
Sporting CP had triggered the release clause of €45m on the 23-year-old Spanish player after sealing the deal from Manchester City and have insisted agreement must be reached on the basis of the clause.
According to reports, Tottenham had offered to pay the €45m on installments but the Sporting CP management had refused a one time payment for the right back.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham are not giving up yet as new negotiations for the player will be open again for the player as Antonio Conte holds the player high for his 3-4-3 tactics.
Tottenham have always seen the player as top on their list as Sporting too have said there are no two ways about the player leaving except the released clause is matched.
He said, “Tottenham will insist again for Pedro Porro deal this week as contacts are still ongoing with intermediaries.
Spanish right back, keen on the move but Sporting insist on €45m release clause. New round of talks will take place soon.”
