Ondo State government says its Governor Rotimi Akeredolu is recuperating from a health challenge and not bedridden.
Chief Press Secretary to the governor Richard Olatunde disclosed this on Tuesday in a statement issued to newsmen.
Olatunde who said that there was no cause for alarm on the governors health, however did not mention Akeredolu’s “health challenge.”
He stressed that the governor is not faced with any life-threatening illness that would have encouraged any alleged conspiracy in his administration.
He noted that Akeredolu held Executive Council meeting with the Exco members till 4pm on Wednesday, January 11th, 2023 after the Security Council meeting, where far reaching decisions were taken on the escalated clashes in Ikare-Akoko amongst other functions
Olatunde said Akeredolu would continue to discharge his official duties to the good people of Ondo while he finds quality time to rest.
