Ghanaian professional footballer, Christian Atsu Twasam who plays for Turkish Süper Lig club Hatayspor and the Ghana national team has reportedly been trapped under the rubble after a huge earthquake hit Turkey.
Astu who was on the scoresheet for his club’s win in yesterday match vs Kasampasa has now been reported to one of the victims of earthquake.
According to reports, about three of Hatayspor staff were trapped in the rubble including the Black Star player.
Rescue teams are currently looking for him and as the Athletic Performance Director of Hatayspor Murat Bel and the Coach, Taner Suvet have reportedly been rescued from the rubble.
Atsu who primarily plays as a winger, although he has also been deployed as an attacking midfielder began his career with Porto, also spending a season on loan at Rio and currently plays for the Turkish side.
