The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State Sir Siminalayi Fubara, says that if elected Governor, come March 11, he will continue with the remodelling of Obio/Akpor LGA, with the siting of major projects that will change the face of Obio/Akpor and better its standard.
Sir Fubara made the promise at the grand finale of Rivers PDP state campaign rally held on Saturday February 18, at Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic.
He promised that he will continue with Governor Nyesom Wike’s urban renewal drive in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area when elected governor of the state.
The Guber hopeful maintained that Obio/Akpor LGA is no longer a remote area but a mega metropolis accommodating millions of people from every part of Rivers State and Nigeria at large.
“Let me thank Obio/Akpor as a whole because you have shown me so much love. Let me say this today, Obio/Akpor people have adopted me, so you can say I am an Obio/Akpor man.
“I will continue with the remodelling of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area. I will continue with the siting of major projects here that will change the face of Obio/Akpor and better its standard.
“I will provide adequate security in Obio/Akpor because anything done here is not just for Obio/Akpor people but for everybody living and doing business here. He stated.
Information made available to Truth Live News during the weekend said that Fubara has campaigned in the 22 LGAs of the state without records of any casualty .
It says Fubara who lives in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, in Port Harcourt south south region of Nigeria, promised that he will not disappoint them for believing in him and all the PDP Candidates in the state.
