The former minority whip in the Edo House of Assembly expressed his optimism via the telephone interview with Truth Live News.

While stating the need for Esan people to choose all the candidates of his party, Hon Ezehi maintained that Peter Obi’s victory in Saturday’s election is assured but believes that the Esan people would benefit more from the Federal government with him joining him (Obi) at the federal.

He said himself and others in the party are elected to work hand with the president to bring more development to the constituency.

In his words: “you all know that Peter Obi is the chosen, in fact Nigerians and indeed the whole world is waiting for his swearing-in ceremony so that Nigeria can once again take its rightful place among the comity of nations.

“But for us in Esan land, we can drive more developments to our communities if we all tie up with the federal.

“Hence I’m appealing to our people to vote me alongside Obi so we can work together to bring real dividends of democracy to our people.

“I have been sending these messages across to our people in all our communities and I can confidently tell you that it is resonating to them and come Saturday, it will be victory for me and all the Labour Party candidates from top to bottom, by the Grace of God.’

According to the Uromi born politician, Labour Party has become a movement with the coming in of their presidential candidate and for his constituency, he is full of confidence that he has done enough work in the two LGAs to earn him victory on Saturday.

“Agbazilo people are too sophisticated for anyone to manipulate, they know who means well for them, they know how experienced I am in the legislative business and I have continued to receive assurances from the two LGAs that I will get their mandates”, Hon. Igbas said with a great optimism.
