The Cross River State Governor Elect, Prince Bassey Edet Mesembe Otu has presented his election cumulative score sheet to Governor Ben Ayade at the Governor’s lodge in Calabar.
Sen Otu of the All Progressive Congress APC, who scored 258,619 votes to defeat the C’River PDP Guber Candidate Sen Sandy Onor with 179,636 votes was flanked by his Deputy Hon. Peter Odey.
Recall that on Monday March 20, 2023, Truth Live News reported that Out 18 LGAs, the Governor-elect Sen Otu swept 15 LGAs with a wide margin.
The LGAs are Odukpani, Calabar South, Calabar Municipal, Akpabuyo, Bakassi , Biase, Obubra, Yakuur, Obudu, Abi, Yala,. Akamkpa, Boki, Obanlinku and Etung the home of Sen Sandy Onor.
Others flanked by the Governor-elect include the Cross River South Senator-Elect, Mr Asuquo Ekpenyong and C’River state House of Assembly speaker Mr Eteng Williams.
