Protesters under the aegis of “Free Nigeria Movement” are currently protesting over the conduct of the just concluded 2023 general elections.

The movement which had hundreds of participants defied the heavy rain currently falling in the Nation’s capital to express their displeasure at the Appeal Court, where they are marched to, from the Unity Fountain, where they converged.

Truth Live News gathered that the protesters were mostly clad in black attires, which one of the protesters said signified mourning.

According to them, the fraud done by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has brought mourning to Nigerians and Nigeria, hence the need to protest.

Holding several placards with inscriptions which revealed their grievances, the protesters urged the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation Abubakar Malami, to speak to president Muhammadu Buhari, to annul the election, displace INEC chairman Yakubu Mahmood, conduct another election and assign a credible person to oversee the process.

As at the time of filing this report, the protesters were still under the rain.
