Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, was issued a 72-hour deadline to turn himself in; after that time had passed, the singer was arrested by the Ogun State police command for failing to comply with the request.
On Tuesday morning, two videos of the artist cursing and roughhousing some Nigerian policemen went viral online.
Due to Mr. Okikiola’s disrespectful behavior toward the officers, the police issued the performer a 72-hour ultimatum, which is set to expire today, Friday.
The singer was threatened with legal action by the authorities, who also denounced his behavior.
In the two videos, Portable alleged that an online scammer had visited his bar and called the police to have his employees detained “for no reason.”
