The All Progressives Grand Alliance has condemned the attack on its officials in the Imo State Governorship primary election held last weekend at the state party Secretariat in Owerri.
The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Tex Okechukwu who disclosed this, on Monday, said that the attack is totally unwarranted and not acceptable.
He further said that some onest and cunning politicians are gradually turning the state’s political arena into a battlefield.
The statement read, “We wish to state clearly that the attacks on our members by somebody who did not even qualify or was granted a waiver to participate in the said governorship primary were totally unwarranted and unacceptable.
“We are saddened by the fact that our political landscape is gradually being turned into a battlefield by some unscrupulous and mischievous politicians.”
