The Cross River State Governor-elect Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu congratulated Muslim faithful in the state.
Otu said he recognized and appreciate the important contributions that the Muslim community makes to state, hence his very best wishes to them as they celebrate this special day.
A statement by his media aides said Sen Otu also extends his warmest greetings and best wishes to their families as they celebrate Eid el-Fitr.
“May this joyous occasion be filled with happiness, peace, and love, and may it bring you and your loved ones closer together. He said.
According to him, “Let us continue to work together across all faith and belief to build a more inclusive and prosperous Cross River State, one that is characterized by mutual respect, understanding, and cooperation.
