Hilda Baci, a Nigerian chef, has reached important milestones in her quest to achieve the Guinness World Record for longest individual cooking.

The 27-year-old has been at it for 64 hours and counting, with only roughly 32 hours left to beat the Guinness World Record.

Hilda has cooked over 110 meals and served over 2,795 people so far. Despite her obvious tiredness from being on her feet for three days and counting, Hilda Baci’s commitment to quality is clear, as she is not compromising on the meal standard and has maintained the excellence that her business is known for.

Baci’s bid to beat the Guinness World Record has been nothing short of motivating to Nigerians and women all around the world.

This attempt has seen an inflow of Nigerians to the cook-a-thon venue (Amore Garden, Lagos) to see her break this record and thousands more, who are avidly following live events via social media.

Notable celebrities have also actively backed Baci’s attempt by attending the cook-a-thon and showering her with cheering words of encouragement.
