President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has taken up residence at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. This comes just hours after he was sworn in as Nigeria’s 16th President.
The Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, and the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele greeted President Tinubu at the statehouse. Other government officials who came out to greet President Tinubu were Mele Kyari, the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd), and Honourable James Faleke, the MP for Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
Tinubu was greeted by the quarter guard as he entered the villa through the Presidential gate. He then exchanged greetings with Shettima, Gbajabiamila and others.
