A passer-by has been reportedly shot in the shoulder by suspected gunmen in Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi state.
The Police Public Relations Officer SP Onome Onovewakpoyeya, confirmed the incident on Saturday in Abakaliki.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the victim has since been taken to the hospital and that his is receiving treatment.
The incident which was said to have occurred on Friday night in Uburu and Okposi communities also left a Sienna car and two other vehicles burnt to ashes.
Truth Live News learned that the command said it was aware of the attack that an “investigation has commenced in order to arrest the suspects.”
