Legal Counsels representing Labour Party LP and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, today amazed court proceedings spectators, when they brought in HD Television to the election petition tribunal, in a bid to prove their case that the February 25th presidential election was rigged.
According to reports, it is expected that they intend to also play the recording of the chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, Yakubu Mahmood, promising that the election results will be electronically transmitted. The LP legal Counsels also plan to play other video evidences that they have to present to the court.
The judges in charge of the tribunal have also reportedly agreed to “watch film” to ascertain the level of rigging that took place during the election on February 25th, 2023.
