Nigerian singer David Adeleke, better known by his stage as Davido, , has admitted that he still misses his late son Ifeanyi Adeleke.
You might remember that in October 2022, Davido’s 3-year-old son and his girlfriend, Chioma, drowned at his Banana Island residence.
Davido recently admitted to Omega that he still gets emotional when he thinks about the death of his son.
He said that because of the passing of his child, many people anticipated that his most recent album, “Timeless,” would have a depressing subject. Instead, he decided to concentrate on writing upbeat and exciting music.
He said;
“I miss him every day, and tears fall from my eyes every morning, even though you may not see it. When I look at myself in the mirror, I remind myself that besides it being about me, I know how many people love me and depend on me.”
He continued, “My son up there is watching over me. In addition to being strong for his mother, which is my primary responsibility, I have to be strong for the world.”
