Oil tycoon Jack Tein, Founder/President of Belema Oil Producing Limited, has successfully obtained the first private export license for Belema Sweet Export Terminal. This landmark achievement was granted by the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) within two weeks of President Bola Ahmmed Tinubu’s administration.
Today, another significant milestone was reached as the inaugural private export license was issued to Belema Oil Producing Limited since the establishment of NMDPRA. The signing ceremony took place on June 13th, 2023, at the NMDPRA headquarters in Abuja. The project is situated in the Kalan Island, Akuku-Toru, Rivers State.
Well-wishers expressed their gratitude to President Bola Ahmmed Tinubu for granting express approval to Belema Oil Producing Limited, which will contribute to the growth of the Nigerian economy through increased oil exports.
Amb. Sukubo Sara-Igbe Sukubo, National Youth Council of Nigeria’s spokesperson, stated, “This achievement is not only significant for Belema Oil Producing Limited but also for the communities and people of Kalabari, Kalabari Kingdom, Rivers, and Nigeria as a whole. The terminal is expected to provide employment for over 10,000 workers, and its operation is projected to generate 11 billion dollars to the nation’s economy
