CBN Acting Gov Sacks Buhari’s Relative, Senator’s Daughter, 80 Others

A new report alleges that the acting governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Folashodun Shonubi, has sacked a close relative of the immediate past President Muhammadu Buhari, close relatives of the country’s former president, Muhammadu Buhari, as well as the daughters and in-laws of a number of influential people in the country.

According to source, Truthlive news learnt that those fired by the new CBN Governor Folashodun Shonubi were allegedly recruited with no compliance with the provisions of the Central Bank of Nigeria’s Act relating to employment.

Additionally, it claimed that they lacked the qualifications to work for the nation’s top bank.

Apart from the close relatives of the immediate past President Muhammadu Buhari, others sacked includes; the daughter, and son-in-law of Senator Ali Ndume, the daughter of a former Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase, and 80 other staff of the apex bank who are sons and daughters of political bigwigs in the country.
