Rt. Hon. Isaac Boluwatife, an award-winning journalist from Truth Live News, has been elected as the Speaker of the University of Ibadan Faculty of Education.
Truth Live News reports that his yesterday’s emergence as Speaker comes on the heels of his prestigious achievement three weeks ago, where he won the highly coveted award for the most outstanding Journalist in the entire university. This accolade, known as the FOPA Award, further solidifies his position as a respected figure in the field of journalism.
In his statement following his emergence, he expressed his commitment to running an effective parliament that serves the interests of all educators. He emphasized that while he will cooperate with the executive, he will not allow the 12th assembly, on account of that, to become a rubber-stamp assembly.
To become the Speaker, he secured an uncontested victory, receiving all 17 votes cast.
His emergence as Speaker has however garnered praise from friends, family, and well-wishers from various walks of life.
