In a shocking incident that unfolded, a heated confrontation between a soldier and a US-based homecoming couple escalated into a brawl, with the soldier threatening to beat up the couple with horse whip.
Truth Live News confirmed that the incident occurred along Ota road in Ogun state, where the couple were traveling to their hometown after returning from United States.
In a video footage shared on Facebook by Comrade Adeyeye Olorunfemi, the yet to be identified soldier confronted the couple, accusing them of disrespecting the military.
Adeyeye shared the story with the caption:
“A couple arriving from the US and heading to Ota, Ogun State had a brawl on the road with a soldier.
“According to reports, even from witnesses, the said soldier was driving recklessly and this couple had to caution him to be careful, lest he causes an accident.
“The next thing was that he pursued them, overtook, jumped out of his car in a gestapo manner, brought out a horse whip, asked the woman to open the car that he needs to “discipline” both of them. I have never seen this kind of horror before, happening especially to people who were just arriving Nigeria after their years of sojourn abroad”.
