Gov. Otti Lauds Late Former PDP Nat. Chairman Ogbulafor During Funeral Service

The Governor of Abia State Dr Alex Otti says the late former National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Vincent Ogbulafor played a pivotal role in shaping his political path.

Otti who revealed on Saturday at the funeral service of the deceased held in his country home, Olokoro, Umuahia South L.G.A of Abia State, that Back in 2009, Ogbulafor visited his house and urged him to venture into politics.

Via his official twitter handle, he said Prince Vincent Ogbulafor made sure that he was registered into the PDP, even if he was initially unsure about it. From that moment, his political journey began, and the rest was history.

The tweet reads in part, “Prince Ogbulafor’s passing is a great loss to our nation and our dear state in particular. He leaves behind a legacy of leadership, mentorship, and dedication to public service,” he said.

“It evoked fond memories of my foray into politics. Back in 2009, while still in the banking sector, Prince Ogbulafor visited my house and urged me to venture into politics. However, I expressed my desire to first attain the position of Managing Director,” he continued.

“The following year, he made sure that I was registered into the PDP, even if I was initially unsure about it. From that moment, my political journey began, and the rest, as they say, is history.

“I am grateful to him for his guidance and support. He played a pivotal role in shaping my political path. May his soul rest in peace,” he prayed.
