Nigeria Now Has Idi Amin as President, Kenneth Okonkwo Says Over Removal Of ‘All Eyes On Judiciary’ Billboards

Kenneth Okonkwo, Spokesperson of the Labour party has berated president Bola Tinubu over the removal of the All Eyes On Judiciary’Billboards across the nation.

The Nollywood actor cum politician who made the assertion in a tweet, likened Nigeria’s current president to Idi Amin of Uganda.

 

He wrote: “The removal of “all eyes on judiciary” billboards and sanctioning of members of the Advertising Panel show that in Nigeria today, there’s no freedom after speech. Nigeria now has an Idi Amin as President. O’God, please give us a democrat as President. Indeed all eyes on judiciary.”

Idi Amin Dada Oumee was a Ugandan military officer and politician who served as the third president of Uganda from 1971 to 1979.

He ruled as a military dictator and is considered one of the most brutal despots in modern world history.
