Spanish Football Federation president, Luis Rubiales has reportedly refused to resign after forcibly kissing Jenni Hermoso following the World Cup final.
According to reports, Luis repeatedly shouted ‘I will not resign’ during Spanish FA meeting which was held earlier today to decide his fate as the Spanish Football Federation President.
The 46-year-old former spanish professional footballer called the kiss ‘mutual and consensual’ and ‘more a peck than a kiss’.
He also claimed that Hermoso instigated the kiss and he shouldn’t be punished for it.
In a bid to get the favour of the National team’s coach, Luis publicly offered women’s coach Jorge Vilda a new 4-year, €2M contract.
