The security detail attached to the Edo State governor, Godwin Obaseki, has allegedly prevented the deputy governor, Philip Shaibu from getting very close to his boss (Obaseki).
Shaibu who is making his first official appearance since the battle of who succeeds the state began, could not have believed his eyes that he could be barred from getting very close to his boss by the governor’s security personnel.
They said, to make matter worse, seat was not reserved for him as he has to get a seat in front of the other aisle of the hall of the event.
Those who are close to the embattled deputy governor said that he has been on official Leave and that he is yet to make an official statement, stating his own side of the story since the whole crisis started.
Also, some wondered that the deputy governor who has been the sole motivating force to Bendel Insurance Football Club, Benin was not at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin to cheer them to victory, noting that actually, there is meaningful development in an atmosphere of rancour.
