Gov. Eno Meets PDP Caucus, Says He Was Voted In By Akwa Ibom People

The Governor of Akwa Ibom State Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, has said that he was voted in by the Akwa Ibom people to work with them so as to achieve the collective aspirations of development that they have as a people.

Eno stated this while addressing the People Democratic Party PDP’s Caucus in a meeting in Uyo.

In keeping with the entrenched practice of constantly meeting minds on important issues of National and State interest, the Governor said, So far, they have enjoyed from Akwa Ibom people, and their Party the PDP, overwhelming support.

“We have been on the path of actualizing the lofty goals of the ARISE agenda for our people,” he continued.

“Today, I charge this Caucus to stand by me as we continue to work together to ensure that we continue to uphold the trust that millions of Akwa Ibom people have in the PDP.”

X-raying issues of development, Progress in Akwa Ibom State, South South Nigeria, the State Chairman of the PDP, Rt Hon. Aniekan Akpan, reasoned that these sustained actions and disposition of Governor Umo Eno will continue to strategically positioned the PDP as the Party that is truly committed to advancing the growth and development trajectory of the people and the State.

Truth Live News learned that after the Caucus members in their various remarks thanked the Governor saying they were highly impressed by the dogged commitment of Governor Umo Eno in exhibiting a sense of urgency in delivering on some of the electioneering promises he made to Akwa Ibom people as well as his Pan-Akwa Ibom disposition in building bridges of unity amongst the people.

The State Chief Executive and Party Leader also took time to brief members of the Caucus on important National and State issues and their implications for the growth and development of the State, the Nation, and the Party.
