Jarret Tenebe and Clem Agba

The All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Jarret Tenebe has debunked the news of flying around that the Edo North Leaders Have endorsed the candidacy of Prince Clem Agba for the 2024 Edo State gubernatorial election.

Tenebe while debunking the news said that Edo North leaders have not endorsed any candidate as it has a leadership and a ‘clear cut channels’ for making any decision regarding the 2024 gubernatorial elections.

He said, “It has come to the notice of the Party leadership of a purported meeting said to have been called by one Alasa Idaro, a political upstart.

At the said meeting Edo North leaders were said to have endorsed the gubernatorial ambition of Prince Clem Agba.

While Prince Clem Agba has the right and qualifications to aspire and be supported by who wishes for him to be Governor, it must be stated unequivocally that Edo North leaders have neither met non considered endorsing any of the numerous aspirants for governor.

Edo North has Comrade Senator Adams Oshiomole as the ultimate leader and the group is also ably led by our respected Prince Malik Afegbua.

There are clear cut channels of calling a meeting of that nature.

The process was completely abandoned and the entire leadership of Edo North disrespected by whoever convened the meeting, all in his ignoble pursuit to justify the pecks he collects and numerous lies he peddles.

It should be known that the APC is not a rudderless ship and cannot be allowed to sail without destination. The meeting that held in Alasa’s house was not by Edo North leaders and thus the leaders would not have endorsed Clem Agba. Whoever that convened the so-called leaders meeting shall be sanctioned for his act of rascality.

We wish to also bring to the notice of Edo North APC members that the leaders are monitoring all polical developments and they shall be adequately briefed of any decision by the leadership as time progresses.”
