The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has fixed dates for the governorship elections in Edo and Ondo states.
The off-cycle elections are slated to hold in September and November 2024, respectively.
The scheduled dates were made known in a statement signed by the National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter’s Education Committee, Sam Olumekun.
According to the statement, election is to hold on September 21 2024, while Ondo will conduct its election on November 16, 2024.
