Controversial singer, Habeeb Olalomi also known as Portable, has alleged that late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, aka Mohbad, of causing his own death.
According to Portable who cleared Naira Marley of the alleged murder of Mohbad in a video shared via his verified Instagram handle, it was opponent who killed Mohbad.
Recall that the deceased singer passed away on September 12, 2023, in controversial circumstances.
Following his demise, some Nigerians on social media accused his former label boss, Naira Marley and his associate, Sam Larry of bullying the 27-year-old singer to death.
Also, several videos suggesting the deceased was bullied by Naira Marley’s associates and Sam Larry surfaced online leading to the public outcry for their arrest.
The Police launched a full-scale investigation and took Naira Marley and Sam Larry to custody.
In the video, Portable said, there was no way Naira Marley could have killed Mohbad after helping to bring him to the limelight and grow his career.
He said he is almost experiencing what Naira Marley experienced from “ungrateful individuals”, referring to his recent fallout with his ex-signee Young Duu.
He went on to pray that God vindicates Naira Marley, adding that he is a helper.
“It was Naira Marley’s opponents that killed Mohbad because he was a traitor. He was chilling with Naira Marley’s opponents, that’s why they killed him. Don’t be so bad in case you want to see it tomorrow. Naira Marley is innocent; he was implicated. But God will save him because he is a helper.
“The death that killed Mohbad is the death of a traitor. The music industry is casted. What I don’t want to say, I will say it now. They roped in Naira Marley and Marlian music.”
“When Mohbad had a problem with Marlians, he said they did not like him. Who doesn’t like him? Who doesn’t love you? Someone that built you later doesn’t love you? He left and ran to Marlians haters and enemies and started rolling with them. You should know the people I’m talking about.” he said
