Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 2023 general elections, Atiku Abubakar was conspicuously absent at the party’s governoship candidate in Kogi state, Dino Melaye flagged off campaign earlier today.
The occasion was however graced by key party chieftains including the Osun state governor, Ademola Adeleke and Former Senator President, Bukola Saraki.
Atiku’s absence had garnered widespread condemnation from both party stalwarts and supporters who described him as selfish considering the role and contribution of Melaye in the party during the last general elections.
