Akwa Ibom State ministry of education has declared Thursday, 26th and Friday, 27th October, 2023 as Mid-term Break for both public and private schools operating in the State..
This is contained in a press release signed by the Permanent Secretary of the state Ministry of Education, Lady Rose N. Bassey on Wednesday.
In the release, the Commissioner said Monday, 30th October, 2023 has been fixed for resumption of full academic exercise after the break.
She used the medium to wish all school children and teachers a pleasant break.
According to the release, Principals and Head-teachers of Public Primary Schools as well as Proprietors of Private Nursery, Primary and Secondary schools have been directed to comply with the announcement.
