People responding to a post on social about the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno’s directive on construction of gully erosion site and Ofriyo Bridge have expressed concern while some have considered it commendable.

The governor inspected a gully erosion site at Afia Nsit, Eket where he ordered commencement of intervention works as well as construction of Ofriyo Bridge to create alternative route from Uyo to Eket LGA, south south Nigeria.

Some residents were happy about his performance in line with the government’s ARISE agenda.

@Udonsek Ubong Jnr, he rated Eno as “Performing Governor.” While @Otobong Ekpe, he said the decision was “Commendable.”

But other residents applauded him but also expressed concern over some abandoned projects in the state, calling on the governor to consider a revisit to them.

@Abasifreke Aniekan: Highly commendable your Excellency sir please kindly revisit these underlisted projects.”
“MIMSHAC Automobile plant Itu LGA.
Jubilee syringe manufacturing company.
AKEES Industry (toothpick and pencils factory).
Fertilizer and Amonia plant Itu LGA.
Saint Gabriel Coconut refinery-Onna.
Peacock paint Industry,” Aniekan noted.

@Sunday Ekong: I made a similar comment when I saw a post on the governor’s visit to a proposed farm and some people were responding to my comment as if it’s aligned, thank God you are on the same page with me,” he stated.
