Passengers on a Nigerian flight faced an unexpected twist when their journey to Abuja landed them in Asaba, Delta State. Taking off from Lagos with @flyunitedng, travelers were initially told they had arrived in Abuja, only to realize they were in Asaba.

The cause of the confusion? The pilot reportedly received an incorrect flight plan from Lagos, diverting the aircraft off course.

Truth Live News gathered that the incident sparked a mix of emotions among passengers, underlining the importance of rigorous checks and communication protocols in air travel.

As passengers navigated the unplanned detour, concerns about the reliability of flight operations emerged, stressing the need for accurate flight plans to avert such situations in the future.

United Nigeria Airlines, which commenced operations on February 12, 2021, initially operated four aircraft connecting nine Nigerian cities: Abuja, Anambra, Asaba, Bayelsa, Delta, Enugu, Imo, Lagos, and Port Harcourt.
Customers hope this was just a small lapse in concentration.
