The Bulgarian government has said it is prepared to partner the Abia State government to boost the economy of the state.
Mr. Yanko Yordanov, the Bulgarian Ambassador to Nigeria, revealed this during his visit to Governor Alex Otti at his residence in Nvosi Isialangwa, accompanied by other embassy officials.
Their aim is to establish partnerships with the state government across agricultural, economic, educational, and human capital development sectors.
Yordanov highlighted the diverse array of opportunities present in Abia State as the driving force behind the Bulgarian government and private investors seeking collaboration with the state.
In response, Governor Alex Otti welcomed the Bulgarian Ambassador and his delegation, expressing enthusiasm about their interest in Abia State.
He affirmed the state government’s openness to the proposed partnership, particularly in the targeted areas identified by the Bulgarian Government.
Governor further assured them of the state’s eagerness to embrace the training and technology that the Bulgarian government is willing to provide.
