Last week, Marlian Record Label owner, Azeez Fashola better known as Naira Marley, dragged Nollywood actress and tiktoker, Iyabo Ojo to court, demanding a public apology and 500 million Naira as damages citing a September 2023 Instagram post by Ojo, where she allegedly accused him of engaging in “spiritual and physical dealings” with the late singer Mohbad and causing him “mental harm.”
Naira Marley claimed that the actress had published false and harmful content against him.
Iyabo in response, just issued a lawsuit against Marley with a one billion Naira for ‘deliberately misleading the public’.
In a statement on her Instagram page, Iyabo Ojo expressed displeasure with the way the legal action was brought to her notice.
She claimed Marley neglected to personally or by mail, serve her with the case, raising worries about potential blackmail.
