Breaking: Emefiele Leaves Kuje Prison After Meeting Bail Conditions

The embattled former governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, has been released from the Kuje Correctional Centre in Abuja after meeting his bail conditions.

The development was confirmed to newsmen on Saturday by Adamu Duza, the spokesperson for Kuje correctional center.

Duza said Emefiele was released on Friday, December 22.

The federal government has been prosecuting Emefiele for alleged procurement fraud.
