The Akwa Ibom State, Governor Pastor Umo Bassey Eno has declared Tuesday January 2, 2024, a public holiday in the State.
A statement by the Commissioner for Information Comrade Ini Ememobong, said that this, is to enable citizens of, and residents in, the state, to attend the State Inter-denominational New Year Service.
The statement on Wednesday via social media indicates that the event is scheduled to hold at the International Christian Worship Centre, Uyo, by 10am.
According to him, the general public is hereby notified.
