The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC), Plc, Mr Deolu Ijose has lauded staff of the company for their committment to duty and customers satisfaction in the year under review dedication.
The MD gave the commendation during a Christmas message delivered to staff in Benin city.
According to Ijose, the staff committment to providing stable and reliable electricity to their customers has been instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation and the comfort of households across BEDC franchise states, Edo, Ondo, Delta and Ekiti respectively.
Ijose who described Christmas season as a period that brings together families and friends, said, staff must not forget that many households and businesses were relying on the company for power this festive season.
He added that, it is the company’s responsibility to ensure that customers light stay bright, their houses remain warm and thier celebration uninterrupted.
The Managing Director added that, even as the year winds down, and staff being an integral part of BEDC Electricity, shouldn’t take their foot off the pedal but continue to strive for excellence in every endeavour, as he was proud of their contributions towards the growth of the company.
He further reiterated staff committment in maintaining safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction which embodies the company.
Ijose who sounded philosophical in his message urged staff not to forget that, ” Our work is not just providing electriciy but also connecting people, powering communities and creating a brighter future for all” thereby; prayed for a renewed hope, good health and continuous success in 2024.
