In a landmark development for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo North, the party’s leaders have come together to officially endorse Asue Ighodalo as their sole candidate for the upcoming governorship election in 2024.

The endorsement was conveyed by Senator Yisa Braima, a former senator representing Edo North from 2007 to 2015, who spoke on behalf of the PDP leaders in Edo North.

The announcement, made at a well-attended gathering of party stalwarts and supporters including Chief Mike Ogiadomhen, a former deputy governor to chief lucky Igbinedion, marks a significant step forward in the party’s preparations for the forthcoming election.

Senator Yisa Braima, a respected figure within the PDP, delivered the endorsement message with enthusiasm and conviction, emphasizing the party’s unity behind Ighodalo’s candidacy.
